How are the winning companies determined during the Challenge? / 6 awards per city to deserving companies

The Défi Entreprises, since its first edition, has not focused on performance, but rather on self-fulfillment and general improvement in the health of its participants. On the other hand, we still like to reward the efforts of exceptional groups. We therefore give 6 trophies (per city) to deserving companies.

Here are the categories related to the trophies that we give:

• Fittest Small Business:
  awarded to the small business (10 to 100 employees) with the highest percentage of participation
• Most fit medium-sized company:
  given to the medium-sized company (101 to 500 employees) with the best percentage of participation
• Biggest fittest company:
  awarded to the large company (501 to 2000 employees) with the best percentage of participation
• Very large, fittest company:
  awarded to the very large company (2000 employees and more) with the best percentage of participation

The participation percentage is calculated by dividing the number of participating employees by the total number of employees in the company, regardless of the activity chosen for the Challenge. For example, company XYZ has 28 employees, 12 of whom participate in the Défi Entreprises. Its participation rate is therefore 42% (12/28), which is better than other companies in its category (small companies). XYZ company therefore wins the trophy for the fittest small business. We also give a trophy to thefastest company. Note that we are giving away four trophies based on participation and one based on performance! The company trophy is awarded to the company which brings together the five best runners or fastest runners over the 5 km distance.

Finally, we also give a trophy to themost generous company, the one who will have accumulated the most donations for the Foundation of her city.

Here are the categories related to the trophies we give:

The business with the highest percentage of Challenge participants will receive a trophy. For each category, the winning business will receive the Active Business Trophy. It doesn't matter what your time, distance or challenge is. For every employee that completes the challenge, your business receives one point! There are 4 categories: 

• Small businesses: 10 to 99 employees
• Medium businesses: 100 to 499 employees
• Large businesses: 500 to 1999 employees
• Very large businesses: 2000 employees and more

Fastest Business Contest

The business with the 5 fastest 5k participants will receive a trophy.

Most Generous Business Contest

The business that collects the most donations will receive a trophy.

Note that we give four trophies depending on the participation and one according to the performance!
