We receive Keven Arseneault, a fitness and nutrition enthusiast. Having tasted the world of physical fitness at a very young age, he quickly knew that he would make his passion his profession. He therefore evolved working from one gym to another during the last 17 years. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Laval University, and a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Functional Nutrition and Health from the same university.
We therefore answer various questions that we often ask ourselves about protein supplements, such as:
- Do we really need to take protein powder to meet our needs?
- What are the protein requirements for a workout person?
- How effective is taking protein supplements on building muscle mass?
- Would you recommend taking pre-workouts?
- How do I know if I'm buying good quality protein?
- Are there any risks in consuming protein?
Super interesting, I would like to have the same kind of information for creatine.
We look forward to seeing you!
This is an abridged version of what could be a great podcast, but if you want an overview of creatine by Keven Arseneault, I recommend this video. https://youtu.be/iA71tQf7QEY
Hello!
I enjoyed your interview with Keven. I am also very curious to know the difference between milk proteins (whey) and vegetable proteins. Are the latter as good as the former? Thank you and good day!
Milk proteins are complete and easily absorbable proteins. Plant proteins are generally a little more difficult to absorb than animal proteins. A good article on this subject: https://www.vivai.ca/fr/blogue/poudre-de-proteine-vegetale-aussi-efficace-que-la-whey/
