If you dream of becoming a running trainer or want to better understand running training, it is now possible to get training given by our team of professionals.

This course is intended for 2 categories of runners

1. You are a runner who has been practicing 5k to marathon distances for a few years now and wants to know the most up to date science behind running performance and use it to help you find the best runner in you.
2. Are you a runner who wants to train and motivate other runners over these distances and you want to benefit from the exclusive notoriety of Running.ca? Interested in learning more about the latest science behind running performance? This specialized running training gives you the legitimacy to offer private running programs and lessons. If you are in charge of a running club or want to start one, this training is a priority.

The steps to become certified:

1. You register for one of the calendar dates by placing a deposit of $ 200. This amount is used to pay for the 2 pre-training courses, i.e. Lanatomy of the runner et The physiology of effort. A mark of 75% is required to be able to access the training. You will receive the link to take your 2 courses when registering. If you already have all the skills in anatomy and / or physiology, you can take the exam directly without taking the online course. If you fail the exam, you may retry yourself multiple times.
2. Once your exam is successful, you pay the balance of your registration with a check that you bring with you on the first day or by credit card via our website: Click here
3. At the end of the classroom and practical lessons, you will leave home with an assignment which is your final exam. This exam is a practical case from which it should result in a complete analysis of the task with a running program adapted to your client.
4. To complete your training, your assignment (program) will be analyzed and a telephone meeting with one of the trainers will complete your practical exam.
5.  You will receive your certificate of achievement with your certificate in the days following the telephone meeting with your trainer.

The indoor and practical lessons are given by 2 teachers, including the official course manual and the tools for building the race program.

The courses are given from 8:30 am to 17:30 pm with 1 hour for dinner. There are restaurants in the training area and you can also bring your lunch. We offer snacks in the morning and afternoon.
